ANZAC Day, 25 April, marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as ANZACs, and the pride they soon took in that name endures to this day.  It is a day for Australian and New Zealanders to reflect on the past wars, their effects on our countries and the efforts of the men and women that served in these times of need.

They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them. Lest we Forget

This week, Mousedroid was able to get a meeting with Brand Managers at Hasbro Australia. Whilst we are holding a few aces up our sleeves (for now), we are pleased to announce that we have confirmation on the local release dates and suggested retail prices on the two big vehicles in the 2008 Star Wars The Clone Wars and The Legacy Collections.

Prepare for the biggest jump into Hyperspace with the new 2.5 foot long Millennium Falcon, due for release in August for SRP AU$300. Sculpted by the designer of the original vintage Falcon play set. Also for release in August, to support of the Clone Wars movie, comes the AT-TE, SRP AU$200.  Look for the official unveilings at San Diego Comic Con.

The Promotion Group (TPG) have unleashed the full version of the Star Wars Keychain Collection site today. On it you will find a break down of all 3 Series of the Collection sets,  Collection Box Set details and The New Apprentice, where you can upload your own face to become The New Jedi or Sith Apprentice. This is one excellent promotion and something the local community should well and truly get behind.

News Scoop: As Cartoon CGI Clone Wars will see a movie release to introduce the show to fans around the world...expect to see a similar development on the Star Wars Live Action Series...except this time it will be a  6-hour mini-series to introduce the general public to the new style of show.

The industry insider, said the show is currently in final draft and is ready for the approval. Our source says it is being sold as "A way to lead people from the events in the original trilogy and introduce us to the underworld". We were told to have a read of Tales from Mos Eisley Cantina or Tales from the Bounty Hunters for the feel of the script, and that the story will revolve around Greedo and an un-named Human Character's mission for Jabba.
